Looks like you have done a combination of Jillian’s workouts before – what kind of results did you see from this? I’ve done the 30 day shred and then started month 2 doing mostly level 3 and a 2 mile walk and one day a week maybe Level 3 and 1 … I’m ready, I think to try more like the combination above! Looks tough though, but that’s okay, I need to get rid of 20 more pounds – 16 down since 1/15/10…
Nice! Thanks so much, you’re the best!
You’re welcome!
This looks great. Right now I’m on SparkPeople doing the 30 day slim down challenge and I’m loving it. I won’t be finished until the third week of June, but I’d like to try this as my next challenge. Thanks!!
It’s a good thing to finish what you start. Fat Blastin’ aint going no where so you have got plenty of time to get to it.
I am mixing running and the 30DS. Do you do any additional cario with with rotation?
No additional cardio unless I need to burn an extra calories I consumed that week so each week it varies. You have to watch your calorie intake and burn numbers. It determines how much you gotta exercise. I’m sure you know thttp://blackandi.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?p=1838#comments-formhat, but for those who didn’t I put it out there.
thank you for all the jillian rotations this one is next on my list – I appreciate your website too lots of good info.
You are very welcome!
Definitely looking forward to giving this rotation tonight. I’ll be starting it tonight since it looks much more challenging than the “Slim Down” version.
I’m looking to use this for the next month before I am going to a friend’s wedding. Just curious, how many inches (or weight) did you loose during this?
I’m sorry Courtney, but I no longer take measurements…I never really did. I only took measurements the first time around with the original 30 Day Shred workout and i lost 8lbs and 2 inches everywhere and a good diet also helped with that as well. I workout for the most part to sculpt and tone my body, build muscle and to increase my abilities in agility, endurance and stamina. Again, I’m sorry I cannot help with this.
Hey Kandi…
Question.. I LOVE JILLIAN!! With her I have seen RESULTS! I am also a tall lady 5’11 so I am so motivated by your blog. My question is this… what do you do (workout wise) when your muscles are sore. I don’t mean a cramp here or there… I mean full out, “so sore can barely walk” days. I have Jillian’s NMTZ, BMBF and 30DS and try to do one everyday but these things leave me really sore which then prevents me from fully giving all i got the next day. My solution was to do my elliptical on such days but I wanted to know if you had ne tips…..
Thanks so much!
Sorry for the delay! “Can barely walk” ??? If it’s that serious then I’d take the day off though I never get like that anymore. But when I was beginning to get into fitness “like that” I would just take the day off and not workout if I could barely walk. When I get sore I do step cardio or kickboxing to help loosen my body up and that seems to work. I don’t use machines unless I’m in a gym and I’m never really at the gym. Good ole’ jumping rope can combat stiff muscles as well. Good luck!
I am just starting the 30 Day Shred….actually Day 3 today. Do you think I should go through the 30 days and then start this rotation? I don’t want to kill myself.
Hello!
In my opinion, I think that everyone who is new to fitness should start out with just doing the original 30 Day Shred Challenge first. Level 1 for 10 days, Level 2 for 10 days and then Level 3 for 10 days before doing any of the rotations I put together. 30DS 30 day challenge will get you fit enough to be able to tolerate the more advanced rotations I have setup. 30 days go fast and plus your mind and body will thank you for it. But ultimately the decision is yours to make. Have fun with which ever you choose.
Hi-
That is what I was thinking also, but I knew you would have the answer. I appreciate your help. I love your website by the way. I stumbled across it last week and it has a lot of great information.
Thanks for taking the time out to read!
