I never knew about this place until I went searching for a brand of microwavable brown rice Costco used to carry. Costco (the devil) stopped selling the product, but Trader Joe’s carries it so I am VERY happy about that.

What is Trader Joes? For those of you who don’t know, Trader Joe’s is a supermarket that sells very good products you’d probably have trouble finding at a regular supermarket at competitive prices. I immediately like the place when I saw the word “organic” over most of the items there. And then I saw the prices…an organic bag of salad greens for $1.99 when one would cost $3.49 when not on sale at a regular organic or non-organic supermarket is just one example. I was in heaven!

I can’t find everything I need at Trader Joe’s so I still buy certain items at Whole Foods Market. I strictly shop at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Market now. The food is just better depending on what it is. So if you want to go organic and not go broke doing it then try to locate a Trader Joe’s in your area.  Don’t forget to buy a reusable TJ’s shopping bag as well!

I’m not sure how I didn’t know anything about this place, but I’m glad I do now.  I have two Trader Joe’s grocery stores in my ares and I hope you guys are as fortunate.  I hope I’ve put some people on to this by posting this information on my blog (if you guys already didn’t know) .  I’m going to leave you now with  some photos of our last visit to Trader Joe’s which was this past Tuesday.  I’ve been  out of control taking pics of everything since I got my new Iphone.  Ha!
