A lot of Moms I talk to from time to time ask me how I’m able to work out at home with my little one around. I workout with her there. If I’m doing really heavy work with weights I’ll ask a family member to keep an eye on her while I’m away, but with ball, tubing, band, body weight work and cardio…she’s there!
Today, I went for a run at Liberty State Park and after I decided to do some chest, delt, back and ab/core work. Here I am with the baby (21 months old) trying to get my workout on. She must sit on me while I do floor work. ALWAYS!!! I was doing lateral delt raises with very heavy resistance tubing sitting on the boardwalk at Liberty State Park.

Excuse the face, but I was seriously getting my rowing on with my tubing.

So, it is not all impossible to get a good workout on with the baby around.
Exercises done today:
cardio – running
lateral delt raises w/ heavy tubing
rowing w/ heavy tubing
upper body pulling w/ heaving tubing doubled over
bicep curls w/ heavy tubing
planks, side planks and reverse planks
lunges and squats w/ no equipment
various ab exercises
12 pushups
