I am finally in the 160s sweethearts! I am not down to my ideal weight of 163, but it’s a coming. I’ve gone through quite a struggle in the first week of the Cooler #1 plan from the Eat-Clean Diet book, but I was able to remedy the problem by throwing in a few foods that helped me through it. To make a long story short…I lost 7lbs in 5 days, gained 5lbs back and then dropped another 4 during the next week (with the modifications…took out one animal/poultry protein serving and replaced it with natural peanut butter, added in a 1/2 cup of 1% cottage cheese to my breakfast and added in one extra fruit serving 3-4 days). Success!
I’m not going to lie, but it’s hard hard hard haaaaaaaaard to eat clean on the weekends. With all of the shopping I’ve been doing at the mall and running around with my kids…I was bound to eat an ice cream cone and I did! I had a vanilla ice cream cone and BOY was it good! I had a few other snacks too, but I tasted. I did have some pasta this weekend too and it was delish. I did not feel bad about eating these things because I never do and for me to have these things once in the blue is OK. The only thing I don’t like about not eating clean is that my tummy grows and stays big – bye bye flat tummy for a couple days. Gross! Today was Mother’s Day so it’s all good!
Another update…I’ve removed Vitamin D from my daily supplement cocktail and added in Calcium with Vitamin D along with Glucosamine. I’ve got a knee issue I need to fix so I’m going to start with these to see if it will help my problem before I go running to an Orthopedist. I wasn’t able to find any Tumeric, as a couple of my team members over at the Spark recommended,\ so these will have to do.
Lastly, I took my little one on her first pony ride today and you know I had to take a picture of me so here it is right by the stables…
