Feedback, Feedback.

Today, this post will be short and sweet as I have a lot of stuff to do today so here goes.

I had gotten A LOT of feedback this week from my late April progress pics from my Heros and She-ros over at the Spark. It’s awesome how one can change in a little over two weeks. It’s totally amazing. In late April, I was eating about 80% clean and this week I’m at 100% and I’m going to keep it that way until…forever, but with one cheat meal and snack per week. It’s hard shopping at the mall and you can’t have a regular latte or a cinnabun while doing it. Ha!

Since I’m on the Cooler #1 Diet from the Eat-Clean Diet book I’ve gone through withdrawl. I am consuming a lot of complex carbs and no simple carbs so my energy levels have been down for the past couple of days. When I workout I’m not giving it my all, but giving something though. I am going to look into energy drinks. I’ve studied John Stone for a while now and I have seen that in his cutting diets he was drinking an energy drink called “Xtend” and so I’ll be looking into getting that for myself. After I’m done with these two weeks on cooler one I’ll see how I feel energy wise. Maybe I won’t need the Xtend…I’ll see.

Unfortunatley, I won’t be pre-ordering the Cathe Push/Pull Tower because I’ve taken a look at the big picture. I need a power rack that has a Smith Machine for heavy lifting when I’m doing squats and a part on it where I can do pull ups and chin ups. I can do pushups on the floor or off my step in decline with no problem. I can use a power rack to put my barbell on when I’m lifting. This makes the Push/Pull Tower useless to me because you can only use it for pull ups, chin ups, push ups and as a barbell rack not over 100lbs so spending the extra money on it will be of no benefit to me. :( Oh well, I’ll go ahead and order the slanted risers with my discount – now that’s something I need.

Anyhow, it’s a great looking piece of equipment and great for those who don’t have a lot of room in their homes like I do to put up humongous racks.

Moving on…

I also wanted to tell everyone that I am down to my lowest weight ever…167.6lbs! I’m still a little weary about moving out of the “Leaving 170s” team over at the Spark, but if I’m still down on Saturday then I’ll move into the “Maintaining” team full-time. I cannot believe I am 4 lbs away from my ideal weight of 163lbs. Woot!

Oh yeah and I’m still busting my butt in the home gym just so you all know. I should be looking somewhat different by the time June rolls around. Also I got a new pair of professionally fitted running shoes (Asics). I’ll post a pic later. :)
