This week and the weather has prevented me from getting my C25k training in…so, I’m stuck at Week 2, Day 2. That’s OK because I’m going to just start my Week 3, Day 1 on Sunday. I’ve been getting my extra cardio in for the sake of American Heart Month so I am good!
I’ve been doing step cardio this week and I love it. It’s so much fun and it whips you into shape. Circuits are my favorite though because it comes off as “bootcamp” to me and it makes me feel tough vs. cute when I’m stepping.
My nose has been buried in my Eat-Clean Diet cookbook for a week. I’ve been picking and choosing meals to make for the next month and compiling a shopping list so I can put all of these meals together. It’s not easy at all. And cooking this stuff takes time and I’m already pressed for time during the day. I wish there were more hours in a day and maybe I can get everything done. Here is my daily schedule…
7am – wake up
7:30 – get breakfast, lunch and snack ready and packed for my day
8am – out the door to work
9am – get to work
5:15 – off of work
6:15 – home from work (w/o traffic)
6:30 – change into my workout clothes and get dinner started
7:30 – hopefully dinner is done by now
8pm – dinner is over and time to clean kitche
8:30 – workout time
9:30- workout over and make sure my logs are filled out correctly
10:00 – checking my emails and posting in the communities I belong to
10:30 – get ready for work in the morning and tidy up around the house
12am – bedtime
And that’s ^^^ my schedule on a smooth day without interruptions. If I have to go to the market or pick someone up or end up in traffic then everything gets pushed back. Poor me.
Today is Friday so that means the weekend is here. I need to really use my brain power to not cheat on my diet. I cannot afford to cheat as I have some clothes shopping to do and I don’t want to go up a size. The goal was to get into a size 10 pair of jeans, but I have since done that and have modified that goal. I want to be in a size 8! The 10 I’m in is kind of loose and it feels good. I will probably do some Yoga after my pull program tonight just to set me off on a good start for the weekend.
Supplements!
Researching and gathering information about nutritional supplements is a pain in the behind. As with everything, everybody is different and requires different things and the same goes for nutritional supplements as well. I decided that Animal Pak is for me…I’m still looking into Creatine, energy supplements and CO-Enzyme Q10. I will look into Glutamine later on. The supplements I’m looking into are not all clean, but that’s OK…I’m going to try to find some brands that offer something close to being natural. Let the research continue.
I’ve noticed that some who lift weights to transform and those who body build for competitions eat the same foods at the same time everyday. I know about this because I read their logs. Tip: If you want to know how someone became this or that…take a look at their background if it’s available and use it to work on yourself. They do that so they won’t have to count calories. They know how much protein, cards and fats they are getting in everyday so no calculations and no guess work and hunting down nutrition facts for them. I need to do something like that. Yes, I’m working on it.
Everybody knows that I lost 50lbs (yay), but I just wanted to say that I’m going to finally reward myself for doing so. I filed my taxes yesterday and with my refund I’m going to get myself my first Coach handbag! Yay! Too bad I have to wait to get my tat because I failed a weight loss challenge back in December so now I have to wait until 2010 to even think about a tat. Here is the purse I’m going to splurge on.

Thank you for reading!
